Where I am red and shiny

Have I mentioned that I rarely wear sunscreen? And by 'rarely', I mean 'never'? Hey, to my defense, I am Sicilian. I have what my mother has termed "olive picking skin" - meaning, I guess, that we are from a warm sunny Mediterranean climate, and so we are built for sun. This is usually true, I am the sun goddess every summer, while my buff but pasty skinned, red headed husband of Welsh descent cowers under layers of clothing, sunscreen, hats, and zinc oxide. And he usually gets burned anyway. What I'm saying here, is that I rarely burn. So I was a little surprised when I went to loofah in the shower and found my chest to be OW painful. I have slathered myself in lotion to try to alleviate the pain. Hence the shininess.
